Representing the patients of the Village Surgeries in Harpenden and Wheathampstead.
What is a PPG?
The Village Surgeries Patient Participation Group (FOTVS) was started in April 2008 as a partnership between the patients and the doctors of the Wheathampstead Village Surgery:
– Enabling a dialogue between doctors and patients to improve the quality of service provided and to help shape future policies of their Village Surgeries
– Arranging Health Talks to help patients better understand treatment and prevention of health conditions.
The PPG is now free to all users of the Village Surgery Practice in Harpenden and Wheathampstead and receives some funding from the Surgery. The committeee is looking for additional sources of funding to cover administration costs.
